About Elena

Elena Gurevich is a NY-based intellectual property attorney who specializes in guiding businesses through the rapidly evolving field of AI law. Over the last few years, between filing trademark and copyright registrations for her clients, Elena has immersed herself in AI regulatory frameworks and compliance standards, earning recognition as a thought leader in the space.

Elena is a contributor to papers on AI compliance and risk mitigation, and served on the EU General-Purpose AI Code of Practice working groups, where she helped shape emerging standards for transparency, copyright, and risk management.

Beyond her legal practice, Elena serves as Director of Development at the Center for Art Law, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting arts and cultural organizations.


Elena is the founder and co-host of "AI & Real Life: Not Your Usual Take," a bi-weekly podcast featuring global experts on the real-world impact of AI technologies.
